Truffle is one of our wonderful mommas that is joining the retirement life early. Her litter had a baby that was confirmed to have Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (WHS). WHS is believed to be genetic meaning Truffle could develop it in her lifetime, or she could live her entire life without any issues. Unfortunately there is no testing that can be done right now to confirm if she is at risk, as WHS can only be diagnosed post-mortem.
